ByTheTon started because I kept running into the same problem — both as someone doing deliveries myself, and as someone who's had to call around to gravel yards trying to get a straight answer on price. You end up on hold, get quoted material cost with no mention of delivery, or wait a day for a callback just to find out the yard doesn't even serve your area.

I run Dirt Dragon, a tractor-based grading and land prep business here in northern Utah, so I've spent plenty of time on both ends of a delivery — placing orders and fulfilling them. ByTheTon is built around the one thing that always seemed backwards: you should be able to see a real, honest price before you hand over your name and number, not after.

So that's what this is — enter your location, pick your material, see your price. No games, no waiting on a callback to find out if it's even worth your time. We work with local pits across northern Utah to get material delivered to you, and we're growing that list every week.
