When you request a delivery quote through ByTheTon, we collect:

• Your name, email address, and phone number (if provided)
• Your delivery address and general location
• Details of your order — material type, quantity, service level, and any site access notes

We don't collect payment information at this time, since payment isn't processed through the site.

We use this information to:

• Calculate and provide you with a delivery quote
• Contact you to confirm and schedule your delivery
• Coordinate your order with the material supplier ("pit") fulfilling it
• Send you confirmation emails about your request

We share your delivery address and order details with the material supplier assigned to fulfill your order, since they need this information to complete delivery. We don't sell your information to third parties or use it for advertising.

We use a small number of service providers to run the site, who process data on our behalf:

• A mapping service, to convert addresses into delivery estimates
• An email service, to send you order confirmations
• A database and hosting provider, to store and serve the site

We retain quote and order records to maintain a history of your requests and for our own business records. If you'd like your information removed, contact us using the details below and we'll delete it unless we're required to keep it for legal or accounting reasons.

ByTheTon does not currently use advertising or analytics tracking cookies. If this changes, we'll update this policy.

ByTheTon is not directed at children, and we don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

We may update this policy as the business grows. We'll update the "last updated" date above when we do.
